Dan Ruf
Dan is a locally retired livestock and grain farmer who recently started a new career in photography and writing. He loves capturing beautiful environmental images for others to see.
In his own words, Dan says that “For me photography is the unending search not only for subjects, but for mood and light as well. The majority of my work deals with the lighting extremes of sunrise and sunset as those tend to be glowing times of the normal day providing a large palette of color. And while my camera is the mechanism that captures the image, my intuitive nature and digital tools are are what lead me to my final visual statement.”
