Join Skylar Finch in bulding your very own Fantasy House. Create a magical mushroom or a leafy shack, let your creative juices flow. There will be four class times. The first three classes you will be making your magical house out of ceramic clay, in the last class you will be glazing your house. Class Times are 4-7 PM April 3rd & 10th, and 1-4 PM April 6th & 13th. Ages 10 + adults welcome.

Join Mayela on Friday, April 25th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm to discover watercolor!  In this class you will learn to work with a limited pallete. The principal split triad palette is made up of six colors. Two yellows, two reds and two blues. We will paint several examples mixing the different warm and cool colors to get wonderful results. A way of making sure your paintings are harmonious and colorful. We will practice wet-on-wet technique as well as wet-on dry technique when applying color. You will have a beautiful finished piece or two by the end of the class.

Join Mayela on Saturday, April 26th from 10:30am to 1:00pm to learn negative painting with watercolors! Negative painting is the technique where you paint around the subject instead of on the subject. Negative spaces are the empty areas around the subject. To demonstrate the application of negative painting in watercolor, we will work by painting white flowers. Negative painting adds depth and dimension to your watercolor. You will need to concentrate on the surrounding area rather than the subject itself. For the finished piece, we will do a painting using fall leaves. Member $20 Nonmember:$30

Join Skylar Finch to make a hanging plant pot using certamic clay. Class times are May 20th & 25th 1-4 PM and May 22nd & 29th 4-7 PM. The first three classes the students will be making the pot out of ceramic clay and the last class they will be glazing their pots.
