"I WISH I WERE..."
Taught by Jane Shuttleworth
Grades 2-5
Did you ever wish you were some kind of animal, like an eagle that could fly high in the sky, or a dolphin that could swim as fast as a boat and jump high in the air? Do you ever wish you had special powers, like to be able to hear like an owl or be able to jump ten times your body length like a frog? If you could be a different creature, what would you look like? What would you do with your special powers? We will get to explore these questions through literature and song, and then we will use our imaginations to create the creatures we wish we could be with puppets, but we will close being thankful for who we are.
